"If you really want to go back, you can."
Edith's eyes brightened. "You think I should go back?"
"No." Yvonne smiled helplessly. "Of course, I think you shouldn't go back to such a heartless family, but that's just what I think. It isn't what you think.
"You'd lived with the Carrington family for so many years. It will be hard to cut off all ties with them smoothly. I can understand that you might be missing them."
Seeing how Edith looked a little swayed, Yvonne knew that her words had hit the nail on the head.
"If you really want to go, I can go with you," Yvonne suggested.
"What?" Edith was a little surprised. "You want to come with me?"
"What else can I do? Mr. Carrington gave me your responsibility. I must take good care of you. How could I let you go back to the Carrington family alone?"
Yvonne pretended to look stern and clenched her fists. "If the Carrington family dares to bully you, I can protect you too."
