Fleur nodded. "That's a good idea, but how do you leave a trail without arousing suspicion? It's not going to be easy because our mystery foe isn't just prudent. He must have caught on to some sort of oversight on our part, or he wouldn't suddenly show up in some distant corner in Northern Europe to save Vera Lavor, let alone find our Cyprus base."

Tarlon nodded, "I agree, but any oversight we had would have been resolved once we went into hiding. But it's still possible it might be a problem again if we reactivate the agents and resources we've been using around that time."

Fleur's eyes suddenly flashed. "Wait. I just remembered… The first time they murdered those among our ranks, it was the time we sent dead soldiers to massacre the Ackers in New York."

Tarlon nodded again as he said, "Yes, and all personnel went MIA."

Pointing a finger at Tralon, Fleur continued her line of thought, "Dead soldiers have no idea where they're from, and the certainly couldn't have communicated wit
