Hector pondered for a moment and muttered, "So, what you mean is that I can't kill my old man."

"Yes." Jose explained, "Actually, whether or not you kill him is no longer important. Him staying alive is good for everyone. If he dies, you will lose face, the Rothschild family will lose credibility, and the U.S. government will become the target of criticism. As long as everyone remains calm, the public will gradually forget this matter. However, if he's dead, the other two parties will do everything they can to clear their names, putting us in a more passive position."
