INSIDE their bedroom, August muttered a curse as he threw the phone on the other side, while he lay down on the other. 

He didn’t know where he still got the energy to talk with Sapphire despite what he had discovered just now.

“Crap,” said August as his hand traveled on top of his chest, feeling his rapid heartbeat. “It doesn’t stop,” he added as he realized that he had that kind of heartbeat for a while now.

‘It was… horrible,’ August commented as what he had seen earlier was infuriating yet pitiful at the same time.
