Deirdre only woke up at 12:00 p.m.

When Tobey came over, she asked embarrassingly, “Why didn’t you wake me up?”

“I knew you didn’t get much rest last night, so I figured I should let you sleep a little while,” said Tobey. “But you can’t eat anything right now. Can you stand it?”

“Don’t worry. I’ll be fine.”
