Hector froze at Alex's outburst.

"You can go back! Don't even think of using these tricks. Money, gifts, and dinners are all useless!" Alex said sternly.

Hector quickly left. However, once out of the department, he felt something was amiss. Dinners and gifts were just normal routines. So why did Alex clearly state it? There was more to his words!

He immediately understood Alex's intention.

In the evening, he parked his car at the department's entrance. Sure enough, Alex walked toward his
