Leaving the restaurant, Mell assisted Sylvia into the passenger seat, and a strong smell of alcohol hit Eric's nose.

"How much did you drink? Is everything settled?" Eric asked.

In his opinion, there was no reason not to settle things after drinking so much. Otherwise, why drink so much in the first place?

Shaking her head, Sylvia mumbled, "Eric... I messed up."

Confused, Eric looked at Mell sitting in the back.
